Assuming no controlled opposition betrayal, it's obvious that Trump, Rudy and so on thought that the judicial system would actually function. That maybe a small percentage would be exposed as traitorous, but that overall by now we would be seeing things unfold in the court of law. Frankly I think even some on the low ranking left are surprised that none of them had to be sacrificed under the bus. I'll admit that I was caught off guard by the utterly flippant attitude of SCOTUS. I didn't expect it to go smoothly but damn.
