Depends on where you are. Recently moved back home and I never realized how fucking expensive it is where I grew up. In the town I was before everything was literally half the price, it's insane. Fucking ground beef costs almost 6 dollars here, I was paying 3.
In some areas there are a few good free charter schools (like anything else in life, some are great, some are terrible.) But you're right, if you don't have money and you're in an area with no good free options it's very difficult for parents to find a good school!
AMEN. And inoculate them against the propaganda that is ubiquitous in our culture. Its not enough to shelter them from it. You have to teach them to be able to identify bullshit when they smell it.
Public schools are indoctrination camps. Get your kids out of there!
