The republican parties in 7 states are sending unofficial 'alternate' electors more or less as a statement of intent in case enough of congress rejects the official votes certified by 50 statehouses (the only votes that matter per US law), but mathematically there's next to no chance of congress rejecting them.

Can I drop something here? I've read a bunch of different sites where people who are planning to go to the big rally are beginning to wonder about things like Porto-Johns. I haven't run across any solidly planned/organized efforts yet. Permits haven't been mentioned anywhere that I have seen. Need those in order to arrange Porto-Johns I think.
