Yep. We are past the point of the system working.

Let’s say Trump does win through constitutional means on 1/6, great, woo.

Then they just do it again in 2024.

It’s time to water that tree, so that the next generations may know peace.

What is to keep any future democratic VP from claiming a certain subset of states are illegitimate and picking their winning subset?

That's not how it works. VP can refuse certain electors but it's moot if the House ratifies the given electors. It is more complicated than that but what happens on 1/6 is not just VP selecting whichever electors and choosing the president based on what they decree as the real slate of electors for each state.

Maybe those states can prove they have secure elections? It’s only democrat run locations that have these issues, every single election.
