My prayers are with you. This type of corruption in D.C. is talked about in the Bible. Even the most "conservative" Supreme Court justices have no regard for Christ and the moralities of doing what is right in the eyes of the Lord even if it makes people mad.
In the Bible, it speaks of the consequences of this corruption. The consequences are that the people fall into hard times under the boots of terrible domestic tyrants and foreign invaders. Even Plato describes our circumstances as the death knell of democracy.
I'm still deciding on how I can either go or help those who are going. But if we are not successful, we will start watching our country sprint towards the cliff of ruin. Our children will not live in freedom as it stands today.
Every day you see the institutions falling apart. The health agencies are killing us. The news is lying to us. The police are ignoring crime and arresting business owners. The schools are lobbying to keep our kids out of classes. The judges are inflaming the tempers of the people. The spies are becoming secret police. The military is becoming a bastion of refuge.
God sees the corruption even in the people. Even the people of our country have lost their moral compass, letting others get hurt for the sake of peace. How long have we let our government ruin the lives of countless others in the world in the name of peace?
We are fighting for the sake of our country's soul. God will not be kind to the US if it keeps up what's been going on. If the people don't demand morality and demand accountability, we will be held responsible for the evils we have passively sponsored.
