My wife and I have a 3 year old. We will faceplant on hot coals before putting her in a public school here in southern Commiefornia.
I've read in passing about a new schooling format, where a group of parents essentially hire a vetted teacher -- is this anything like that? Even Catholic school doesn't seem adequate anymore 'round these parts...
I don’t have any information for you but I want to say this is a fantastic idea! It would be great to have access to a list of teachers that are not going to indoctrinate kids to some leftist crap.
You could all withdraw from public school and become legal homeschoolers and just have a couple neighborhood SAHM help the kids during the day. Take turns or something. We are long time homeschoolers and don't do this personally but know families that have worked it out. As for hiring a pariotic teacher, do you need a licensed teacher? You could try hiring a college student. Find one through a local church. A very conservative church.
