My wife and I have a 3 year old. We will faceplant on hot coals before putting her in a public school here in southern Commiefornia.

I've read in passing about a new schooling format, where a group of parents essentially hire a vetted teacher -- is this anything like that? Even Catholic school doesn't seem adequate anymore 'round these parts...
