Demoocritus-Prime, I believe, is drawing a parallel between the two eras, ours and Germany. Both populations were powerless and doomed till a strong leader appeared to liberate the people.The Germans were scared of Uncle Joe, but the established media loved Stalin, the most brutal communist ever.
