If hospitals get a 20% bump from Medicare for a Covid-19 diagnosis and the patient doesn't have it, shouldn't that be considered insurance fraud?

If someone dies falling off a ladder and their death is listed as Covid related then that is flat out fraud.

You want to see if the whole COVID-19 thing is a scan? Remove the financial incentive for hospitals to report everything as COVID. Though I am not a betting man, I would bet real money that COVID numbers would drop drastically if they cancelled the extra money.
