It's basically a message to Republicans to say....."Get behind me, or you will lose come next election either way....whether it's because you turned your back on the American people....or because Democrats stole your election too".
If they were smart, they'd realize this. If they can steal the presidency with fraud, they can steal ANY lesser office with even less trouble. No one is going to bat an eye at house or senate seats being stolen if they already stole the presidency with election fraud.
And once Democrats steal power with election fraud with the intent to take ever lasting control, they will no longer have a need for even people like Romney, because they won't need Rino votes for obstruction or show. Rino's will be disposed of. They'll just keep a few die hard Republicans in there for appearances sake, so they have to keep REAL Republicans in there so there's visible opposition, because they need to paint Republicans as bad and vilify them so they can paint themselves as good. They can't keep that appearance of a two party system when it's really a one party system, if Rino's are constantly capitulating. And with them controlling all elections with fraud, they won't have to worry about real Republicans actually gaining power again, so they definitely won't have a need for Rino's.
Here is what I am thinking. Many people were prevented from earning a living because of the government. Because many governments over-reacted (justifiably maybe at the beginning) they could not open their businesses. So it was government action that caused their economic woes. So it is appropriate that the government fix it up. Well it isn't exactly socialism.

Socialism isn't a switch you flip. It happens through a series of actions. Universal Basic Income is a core tenant of The Great Reset. Government inflicting harm in order to justify doing what they wanted to do anyway, in the name of repairing the harm they inflicted, is a common tactic.
Whether or not it's appropriate has no bearing on whether it's socialism or not. They are neither mutually inclusive nor exclusive.
In this case, yes, it is a step further towards socialism.
