Wouldn't it be simpler to create a rapid test that would tell you instantly if you have it? If you do just wear a mask and go about your business. If your sick (cold, flu, China Flu, whatever) go to the doc.
Seems kinda archaic "Eh well just wait 14 days in isolation and see if you get sick"
