Yes you are correct. There still exists a direct correlation between money spent and electoral success. Democrats have a few very wealthy people who donate. Republicans rely on working class, middle class and upper middle class donations in larger numbers to balance out the Democrat's plantation owners, er, billionaires. For the past few election cycles the Dems have out performed money-wise, even though the donations vs. results correlation is not as strong as in the past. That is the point of choking small businesses with SARS-CoV-19 pseudoscience and keeping big box and internet retailers working full speed.

I there is not a majority of GOP politicians supporting President on the 6th I will never be voting for a GOP candidate ever.
