I’m looking at you, Hotel Harrington. MAGA will find other places to stay, but your business might not stay afloat much longer.

It would be a shame if this hotel sustained damage during peaceful protests.

Really sad how TDS affects some people.

How does the hotel have any idea why you are in DC. Do they just assume you are a Trump supporter?

They claim to be shutting down the entire hotel for a few days, so even non-supporters would be out of luck.

They probably had someone on their staff test positive for COVID. Overreaction? Sure. But what makes you think it's targeted?

Did you see the dates the hotel is now closed in that corporate email the OP got? 5-7. Not a coincidence bud.

I'm seeing a lot of threads on this but most give spotty info at best. It's entirely possible it is a plot but I haven't seen it as yet. That's one of the flaws of the upvoting system with new developments, it leaves a lot of gaps

They’re probably paid off.

Not only that but the workers of the hotel who will be out of work/tips. Selfish and self-serving = liberal logic.

Why not just take the hotel by force? A few hundred people, walk in, and just do it

They’ve had a lot of negative press (by many standards, but not us) due to the Proud Boys setting up shop there the last couple times. It gets pretty rowdy.

Is it even legal to deny someone lodging because of political affiliation?

They claim to be shutting down entirely for those few days, so probably deniability I guess.

What happened?

Choosing to be stuck with 1 star antifa reviews rather than try to offset with 5 star MAGA reviews.

I think they are closing and hoping they can get “COVID-19 relief” That is the problem with bailing everyone out no incentive to work or try.

Yep. Socialism.
