Homosexual became same-sex, crippled/handicapped became physically/ mentally (retarded) challenged, illegal alien became undocumented immigrant, certain taxes became fees. Just off the top of my head.

They also think word definitions are flexible because of postmodernism indoctrination.

Semantic changes are common in any language but replacements only happen if the majority of the population employs it.
