IRC is internet relay chat, an old as balls live chat protocol... Tons of clients out there to connect... The webchat link above is a good way to dip your toe in the water... The webchat interface is horrible though...

Not officially associated with td.win but we figure the more communication channels the better come Jan 6th... Plus IRC is pretty robust.
