I would fully expect DC to be entirely closed down on those dates. No hotels, no food service, no public transportation. Roads blocked. Everything locked down.
Did anyone think they were going to just let us walk in there and stand up for ourselves, while staying in comfy nearby hotels and riding the trains?
It's not just "they", meaning anti-Trump forces. It's sane business people who know BLM/Antifa will also be on hand to wreak havoc, and who don't want their business looted and set on fire, and in the case of hotels, don't want BLM/Antifa savages maiming and killing Trump supporters in the hallways.
Are you an idiot? I fucking live here. You really expect them to shut down metro/bus service to my work in Arlington, let alone the 600,000+ people who live and work in the district?
Do you really expect them to close down all the local stores and grocery stores?
I've seen the Harrington mentioned, but I wouldn't be surprised if a number hotels either close completely, or only offer rooms to regular guests booked through established corporate or government agency accounts. If they're booking rooms for the general public, there's no way they can keep out BLM/Antifa types who are there are wreak havoc, beat up Trump supporters, set fires, etc. I'd close if I owned a hotel there.
DC hotels aren't "the corrupt leftist serving establishment". They're for-profit businesses, and they make decisions based on the effects on their bottom line.
I have been to protests in DC 10 times. This is no surprise to me.
Patriots, you have to be more resourceful than going on some website to register for the removal of Congress.

There will be NOTHING open or operating. NOTHING.
Bring all you'll need and be prepared to walk.

Sleep in your car. No biggie. Founding Fathers slept in mud.

Most DC hotels are not part of companies that make more than a billion a year.
