That’s not true. AT&T takes up all sorts of contracted work. Any (tech) work AT&T can take on that will help build their business relationships and overall market share, they will take on.
I know this because my company contracts with AT&T for exactly these purposes.
A massive, monopolistic company, that sits on billions can't develop exactly this, or definitely isn't associated w/ anyone that does have these capabilities?

AT&T is a major Cybersecurity contractor for the us gov and numerous states. The even have the contract to help secure the state of Tx voting system.
