I'm not trying to downplay your experiences -- really, I'm not -- but these aren't people who have been to a real battle zone (most likely) and even still, hardened soldiers would react more than he did when it happened.
Maybe you swallow it fast afterwards, but right when it happens surely you'd be saying something along the lines of "fuck", or "shit", or..well, anything, but he remains mostly silent and just paces around
I dunno he didn't seem very flustered for most of that. Only one person did on the radio.
Even when his voice was shaking and stuff, it seemed more like he was out of breath from the walk and run.
