What a sick society where the “wife” of an elected official gets 44 staffers, likely most, if not all of them making over $100,000 per year. As the employment coats up and you’re probably talking a total annual cost of $10 million.

Nope, that's why it was $10 million. Total cost of employment guessed at around $230,000 when you add everything up, including security measures and background checks and such.
