Just got a call from the hotel i booked for Jan 5-7. They wanted to verify my cancellation and i told them hell no, i wasn't canceling. Not to cancel my room for anyone. Call and check your reservations. There is fuckery afoot.

I've never heard of a hotel ever calling anyone to confirm a cancellation. Why would they do that?
