Most of you act like only D.C. has hotels. May I remind you of the millions of hotel rooms available in Maryland and Virginia?

I remember those massive multi-floor hotels around Crystal City, and Northern Virginia is very large so there are tons of traditional highway-oriented chain hotels there.

Any status on whether MARC or VRE trains will be running? Certainly D.C. government liberals have no power over them, right? There are other options besides WMATA, especially Amtrak.

Isn’t the goal critical mass? Whatever gets the bodies there is good; If it takes porta-potty, I don’t have a problem with that at all. And why be unprepared? “Because 1776!”? Come on man
