Before the election, a house in my neighborhood had several signs up for Biden, including one rather nasty one that said something about "Flushing the Turd."

Then one day I saw that not only had the signs been covered in spray paint, but "TRUMP 2020" was spray painted on both the garage door and the car parked in the driveway.

A few weeks later I see a man in front of the house putting up Christmas decorations so I pull over and approach him. I say, "Hi, I live around the corner and I saw the damage that was done to your property last month. I DID vote for Trump, but I wanted you to know that not all of us are like that. We aren't the ones looting or vandalizing property. And I'm sorry that happened to you."

His response:

"When I came out that morning after they did that, I saw the worst of people. But that day, three different Trump supporters I never met before came and offered to help pay for the damages. And a little old lady came by with a homemade cake. She said she loves our president and that I should, too, and that she was sorry she didn't have time to decorate the cake better. I was so surprised. By that night I saw the best of people."

We talked for almost an hour, and I told him how MSM paints Trump as a racist and a buffoon, but that just isn't true at all. He actually listened, and said that he was really impressed at how complete strangers stepped up to help like that, and that he would have to take another look at who Trump really is if his supporters are as kind and decent as the neighbors he met as a result of the incident. We shook hands and said good night.

It starts with a conversation. (And a suggestion to try OANN instead of CNN!)

Came here to say this. 99.99% positive that no Trump supporter did this.

It might be a kid being foolish as kids can be, but the most likely answer is a leftist trying to play political dirty tricks. These are the people that rig elections, that steal and become corrupt old frauds like Quid Pro Joe.

Oh man, that didn't even occur to me. Just figured it was stupid kids. We seem to have an epidemic of them here lately. But you are probably right.

Unsurprisingly, not one Biden supporter offered to help pay any damages. And that right there is the difference: we are decent, hard-working, honest, neighborly people who will step up to help someone in need, no matter WHO they voted for.

If your neighbors name happens to be Bubba Smollett, he probably did it to himself while crying, screaming “this is maga country”

True story

Because you have a heart and like our President think the best of people. That was the toughest thing for me about the election fraud I couldn't believe it was as bad as it was and I couldn't get my head around the fact that the corrupt swamp was going to let it happen.

Plot twist: he spray painted his own house

Tookens 14 points ago +14 / -0

There's at least a 50% chance this happened.

Where is the twist? Shit like that is par for the course.

Nice hearing stuff like this. I managed to redpill a liberal in-law the other day during Christmas dinner. She had no idea about anything that was going on, didn't know about the legal affidavits, dominion voting systems, the videos and audio that literally showed election fraud on screen for all to see, the boarding up of windows to prevent people from viewing what was going, or even the fact that 7 states have sent two sets of electors. She wasn't even aware about the role of the President of the Senate (pence) and what may very well end up happening on the 6th. She didn't know about the 200,000+ biden votes found to be potentially illegal because of failure to confirm that the voter was legally "indefinately confined" when it came to requesting mail in ballots, or that tens of thousands of dead people had been confirmed to have "voted", or that people have already gone to jail for voter fraud this election (like that one elderly home care worker that was forcing the elderly that lived there to vote for Biden).

As far as she knew Biden had already won and it was over and done with, so to hear about all this stuff really blew her mind, especially when I started backing it up with video/audio evidence, explaining how the judges weren't even hearing the cases (ie: it's not that there was no evidence, rather the judges simply never let it get to the point where evidence could be presented), told her about the trump tax cuts in 2018 and how the media had portrayed them as tax increases, and then went into the recent covid bill and how it was filled with BS. I also suggested to her to start watching OAN and to come and check out TDW.

The best part of all this? She's a teacher. Which means now that she's been redpilled it's likely she'll either redpill her students or at the very least not contribute towards their indoctrination. And she's married w/ kids as well, so it's highly likely she's about to redpill her husband as well. Felt good tbh, she's literally the first "liberal" I've met that was actually willing to sit down and listen to me explain things and also watch the video/audio proof I was talking about. Though I have the feeling the only reason she initially humored me is because I'm her in-law (via her sister that married my brother)

Wow! That sounds perfect. Wish you could talk to Adam Kinzinger like that. Thanks, pede!

That is AWESOME!! Good on you. Some folks get so worked up and nasty that you cant even have a civil conversation. Ive banged my head in that wall more times than I can count. But when you DO open just one person’s eyes its all worth it.

Planting seeds.

You are so brave, I avoided walking my dog over the houses with those signs.

Yup. Most of us pedes were converts too. (Based parents aren't as common these days.)

ACActual 2 points ago +2 / -0

Speak for yourself young buck. I was born this way. Just rebellious I guess

Buce-Nudo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Good stuff. I notice now that my liberal friends with conservative parents were starting to wake up to this bullshit a lot earlier. I had the opposite situation like many conservatives in the last couple of generations.

People need to see the truth...when that happens everything changes...

2
oshead 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ok, so I got to the first step. Step 1. Vandalize Biden supporters properties.

So what happened next...?

Peachykeen74 2 points ago +2 / -0

Once you live somewhere that’s more socialist or communist, you realize that these people have the interpersonal values of farm animals. They treat their liberal politics like a medieval indulgence so that they can in their personal lives be the worst scum of the earth.

Twist: neighbor messed up his own stuff to get free cake.

ChargingLighthorse 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is the real victory. If we want to avoid violence more of this is required. Elites love us at each others throats. When there is an opportunity to do this do.

Well done sir!!!

Yup. I do the same thing. Some shake their head at me and think Im a conspiracy kook. But others listen and get out a pen to write down website suggestions. We can all do our part to help awaken others.

Sounds too Norman Rockwell, maybe, but it's actually not fake. I came to Texas 20 yrs ago and the first thing I noticed was that people were actually FRIENDLY. Lived in Austin the first few years (when it was still fun to go see live music any night of the week and not horribly crowded) but moved out here to Hill Country 15 yrs ago. I now live in a small incorporated “village.” I like everything about it except the HOA, who are crooked as hell.

But I know everyone on my street, and like all but one of them. When I walk my dogs I stop and chat with neighbors. If Im in the golf cart sometimes the neighbor kids come for a ride around the block. When they were little they would ask to “come taste my garden” and I would give them various herbs to try.

I never had kids of my own but THIS is what I would fight to protect.

Not fake.

Nice tory

a win/win for you both

the funny thing is that it was probably originally dont by a leftist, to try to make Trump supporters look bad

but because we're fundamentally decent people, it made us look good.
