This was the money used to fund the Victoria Police and bribe judges and officials to target Cardinal Pell.

Cardinal Pell was investigating the corruption at the Vatican bank, then was forced to return to Australia to clear his name.

Pope is rumored to be stepping down. I wonder if this is related.

The Pope will eventually be stepping all the way down.

Aren't churches supposed to be charitable? Sitting on 2.3B like that doesn't exactly seem that way tho.

Which makes it even worse. Imagine all the good they could do in the world to help persecuted Christians or just humanity in general. Their willingness to pad their own pockets while hiding behind a facade of holiness is why I despise the Catholic Church so much.

I knew I was into something when I was arguing with Catholics this morning.

My God doesn't lie...

Nothing has been proven yet. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt but I would not be surprised if it's all just become a massive money laundering operation for a nation state. And I don't buy that "nobody knows" about 2.3 billion dollars. Someone bloody well knows..

That excuse has worn thin for a few thousand years, bro. I understand that there are bad actors but the fruit belongs to the tree.

If my church had a closed "city" and was funelling billion of dollars (shadily) around you'd bet we'd be looking at ourselves and wondering what we've become.

Don't conflate Catholic faith to what now occupies The Catholic church. The church was infiltrated years ago when Jacob Frank brought over THOUSANDS of sabbateans ready to "convert" to the Christianfaith. They continued to follow the upside down teachings of Sabbatai Zevi in secret. They practiced sex magik, occult and mysticism. Over time they climbed the ranks with the intent of corrupting and destroying the church from within as they gained control. Some of the ranking members of the catholic church have been subverted by an order that does not answer to God, but the exact opposite.

Ok. That's still your church. Don't see you and 20,000,000 protesting it every day. Don't see the leadership caring.

Start a new church or hurry up and fix that one. Stop telling me it's an untouchable cabal - do you or do you not carry the Holy Spirit?

Stick up for your people.

The same thing is happening to our great country. It has been infiltrated by leftists that want to destroy it from within. We are under attack from all sides. The left hasn't been sitting back lazily for the last 100 years. They have been infiltrating and subverting every position they could to get them to the point where they are the majority of the elite in charge.

They feel now is the time where the deck is stacked in their favor and they're making their move.

Just saw your edit.

They aren't my church as I'm not catholic. These are just things I've discovered while researching the corruption we now face on multiple fronts. I agree with you. The church needs to defend itself and take it back, just as we must do for our country.

Christians have been their own worst enemy. Live and let live. Do what thou wilt, but leave me alone. In a peaceful world, that works fine. The problem is, that doesn't work with those on the left. They don't want peaceful coexistence. They want you to capitulate to their ideology.

The left HATES you. They HATE me. They HATE God. They HATE America. They want all of it destroyed. The time for civility is over, or we won't have a civil society to go back to. Taking the high road is what has put us in the position we are in. We cant afford to worry about etiquette, politeness, sincerity, or opinion. Being polite is what has backed us to the ledge with no more ground to give.

I think I made it pretty clear what I'm talking about and the Vatican doesn't have to be as old as the Catholic Church to be a sign of corruption within the church. I wasn't only referring to it either.

And that corruption doesn't have to come from outside the church. From reading the Bible, we can see that most churches corrupt themelves from within. Such as Corinth.

And it's usually poor exegesis that isnt obtained in the spirit that causes it.
