At first I thought he said "resit", like sitting again, then I remembered Austrians pronounce "e" like "i".

Nope. Kiwi's do that. I'm an Aussie who pronounces it "reset" along with every other Aussie I know.

But the guy in this video said it like "resit". Can't it be possible that you Australians think you are pronouncing it like "reset", but forefingers think you are saying it like "resit"?

If you want to pick holes, you Americans pronounce c'mon as c'marn, sure as shooa.I did a search of Scott Morrison's history, he has Kiwi blood all through his family. We pull the piss out of Kiwi's for their speech all the time, for example, they say pet cat as pit ket.
