I don't know. When MZ and BT were creating music, wasn't the music basically for rich nobilities? Did the uneducated public also enjoy their music? I kind of suspect that those demographic in that era probably probably enjoyed similarly cheap and dirty music. I don't like modern pop music, such as Cardi B., at all, but how can we objectively say which music is superior? Music is subjective. If people like it, then it is a good music for them. Of course, since I have a different taste, I don't have to agree with their opinion.
Of course, I say things like "I don't like this music." or "That music was better", but in my case I implied "in my opinion", because saying "in my opinion" every time is tiring, and I don't blame others for liking the music I think is not good, because their taste can be different.
