I'm not, I'm reinforcing the point: even something as plainly obvious as gravity is poorly understood at a fundamental level. If "science" can't explain why a basic phenomenon like things falling happens (just that it does, which, duh) then why the hell would I believe their explanations of complex systems such as, to your point, the earth's entire atmosphere or, to the larger topic at hand, how a virus is going to spread.
Nope, and the sun is electric not nuclear, black holes don't exist, and lightning made the crators on our moon, not meteors. Science is way wrong when it comes to gravity and the universe. See Thunderbolts project for a deep dive.
I say this to my wife every day.
Those who believe in "settled science" don't know and have never practiced science.
If science can be settled then shut all laboratories, research institutes, and universities now; for they have no use anymore.
gravity is settled science.
the rest is bunk
Also, when did "public health authorities" get elected and how did they get such power?
This is easy, just ignore them
Still an open question as to WHY objects exert gravitational pull on one another.
Still researching gravity waves and gravitons. Settled lol. https://www.ligo.caltech.edu/page/what-is-ligo
Black holes and magnets... how do they work?
"There's no such thing as gravity. Stuff just falls." - my mom
who cares about the why, it is there. unlike climate change
you're missing the point of the original post

Not true. There are frequently new discoveries regarding gravity. Some scientists spend their entire life studying gravity.
Gravity still isn't "settled science."

ok. better hold on then
I didn't say that the effects didn't exist... simply that nobody understands precisely what it IS
