I run a small convenient store in a very blue state. I am the only shop in the entire city (that I know of), that has never required masks, put up any plexiglass, barricades, stickers on the floor, hand sanitizer stations... NOTHING.
None of my employees are forced to wear a mask, and none of them do. I interact with hundreds of strangers everyday. Same with my employees.
None of us have been sick one time, all year. Nobody has missed a paycheck, nobody has missed a day of work. No visits by the health department, or warnings from police (knocks on wood). No complaints from any customers (yet). Unfortunately 99% of my customers still wear the masks.
I'm trying to do my part. I actually had one customer yesterday mention that he noticed I havent worn a mask all year and Im still... "alive".
I dont talk politics or religion at my store for obvious reasons but I couldnt resist this time and went on a small rant against the tyranny we are all under. Long story short... Every key point you could think of, I nailed in about 5 minutes... I didnt get this sheep to take his mask off, but I know I slightly redpilled him.
"When do you get to take the mask off? When Governor Inslee says you can? Is he your master? How many lives and businesses need to be destroyed before you man up? If masks work, why arent they working?"
Shit like that, lol. I could tell that questioning his manhood was the part that got to him the most. The guy I was talking to owns a restaurant down the street from my shop, and as he was walking out he was like... "Man I should just open my shit up all the way and say fuck it." I was like "yea you should". I know he wont tho.
