He effectively consolidated executive power to an extreme degree and went around the American people at every turn. He was popular because most people didn’t know his policies. He spied on US citizens and Donald Trump, leading on the fake Russia narrative, while slowing recovery after 2008 with poor fiscal policy. Obama said nothing during the race riots and the brewing race wars, which could have actually diffused tensions. He, basically created a lot of the situation we see today.
