Last year in the same week there were 7,703 positive flu tests, and no year in the last 5 had fewer than 320 positive tests.

Flu cases are down because people are wearing masks.
Covid cases are up because people won't wear masks.
If you peruse the Joe Rogan Experience subreddit, they are literally arguing the masks stop the flu (which is not very contagious according to them), but not the Chinese Virus, which is hyper-contagious.
The pretzel these people have worked themselves into is of the retarded variety.
So basically flu vaccines are pointless because masks work?

They really think we are stupid, and most people may be, but this is utterly ridiculous because if COVID is spreading as much as it does despite the measures, so would the flu since the numbers infer such when you analyze flu statistics and data going back over the last 10 years.
My dad is a Trump supporter... Staunch conservative, with conservative values and upbringing ... I STILL can not get him to believe that covid numbers are a complete lie!! .... He's 61 so he's set in his ways.. He's not scared of covid at all he NEVER wears a mask or anything like that.. he just can't allow himself to believe the CDC and organizations like them could be lying.... I don't know how else to redpill him on this? I've showed the numbers, sent the graphs.... He believes their reasoning that the low numbers are from the masks!! .... Try and find something he believes, that the CDC doesn't agree on. It doesn't need to be about Covid, just something that your Dad knows absolutely and unshakeably. If you can find something like that, it'll act like a little seed of doubt and hopefully make him question other things about them.

The only thing that might work is asking him lots of careful questions, designed to get him to think about his own beliefs and see the contradictions for himself. If he does like to argue with you, that might be the best way as you won't be directly challenging him and he won't automatically be on the defense.

And who gets tested for flu ? I’ve never been tested or even been the doctor with flu, just stay home feeling sorry for myself, then try and drag it out a few days so I can stay off work

The rate is much closer to 19% Positive Flu test I believe. If you simply take out this years bs 2.66 number that water downs the 5 year positive number to 15.8.
Guess they want us to believe the flu went away just in time for Covid.
Or maybe the hospital doesn’t get kickbacks for positive flu test like they do For a positive Covid test

The chart says more tests have been conducted than last year. They have stepped up testing for something that Trump apparently cured and publishing the good news.
