My dad is a Trump supporter... Staunch conservative, with conservative values and upbringing ... I STILL can not get him to believe that covid numbers are a complete lie!! .... He's 61 so he's set in his ways.. He's not scared of covid at all he NEVER wears a mask or anything like that.. he just can't allow himself to believe the CDC and organizations like them could be lying.... I don't know how else to redpill him on this? I've showed the numbers, sent the graphs.... He believes their reasoning that the low numbers are from the masks!! .... You have to remember when talking to family, friends or angry low information lefties that these people and their Grandpa's, Grandpa's have trusted their news sources for their whole lives!! .. I've changed his mind on other things such as UFOs (he understands they are real now) and things like that but you just have to keep showing them and don't give up! We are the ones responsible for redpilling this country!! The MSN can't be trusted and we have to have these facts and statistics readily available to pull up on our phones! So when talking to people we can prove it right there! ... I'm sure there's PLENTY of former liberals that are regulars on this site now! So don't be a hypocrite! Get out and redpill people on leftist sites! Don't be a fucking pussy and refrain from bringing it up at work because they are all leftist!! It just means they don't know they're being lied to! Try and find something he believes, that the CDC doesn't agree on. It doesn't need to be about Covid, just something that your Dad knows absolutely and unshakeably. If you can find something like that, it'll act like a little seed of doubt and hopefully make him question other things about them.
Well the UFO thing I thought would get him.... I mean that is all but an accepted thing at this point tho... That I think is the biggest key to unlocking what's really going on ... The CIA and the national security act were created just a few months after the Roswell crash! All the secrets and things we hate stem from that crash and what was discovered there... That Israeli guy that just recently admitted it I think is what really solidified it for him..... I thought like you said that would open the flood gates.. I think he just likes to argue with me
The only thing that might work is asking him lots of careful questions, designed to get him to think about his own beliefs and see the contradictions for himself. If he does like to argue with you, that might be the best way as you won't be directly challenging him and he won't automatically be on the defense.
