Simple solution to the Defense Bill; don't enforce it and sue. It clearly has unconstitutional provisions in it; and thus the whole bill can be stricken down; no biggie. DJT has POTUS capacity to do this, and he's got personal wealth; and he's got a giant megaphone and head of the Party which can easily file the lawsuit.
Bill says congress orders troops around. US Constitution says, that's POTUS' job. Bill is unconstitutional. Bill is stricken down. The End.
Section 230 can be ended in the exact same way. POTUS can do a 1 page E.O. effectively killing Section 230; while suing. Congress does not have the power to give Section 230 in the first place, aka it's unconstitutional on it's face. Bill is stricken down. The End.
BTW I wrote this near exact same comment above, for the Shutdown over the WALL Funding; which for 30 months now the Swamp has hidden it; including 27 months at DHS-CBP, when by LAW they had 30 days to respond, and by E.O. they had obviously violated that too this whole time as well.
That's why it's called the WIN WIN Plan, because the legal issue is framed such that no matter which way a court rules, it results in a win. And even if SCOTUS didn't take the case, the lower court ruling would stand, so it would still be a win. It doesn't have any of the problems like "standing" or "timeliness" or boxloads of evidence/reading either.
