But here is the catch, even if they fail to pass the standalone bill ....the funds will be dispensed in 40 something days anyway.
The standalone passage would allow faster release of funds for the pork because people would get the 2k. If the standalone fails the presidents signature on the original porkus pie is sufficient and the money flows to all the countries but the US in 40 days.
I might be wrong but it seems like they will have to hold a vote on each item. That would force them to take accountability for the pork. I don’t think President Trump can completely veto a supermajority
No, that is not happening, any all. The process the President is using is recission. He can ask Congress about specific line items. Not the whole thing.
That would only be the case if every item was a separate bill. Presidental veto powers are all or nothing; Clinton tried to get a line-item veto back in the 90s, but was shut down by congress.
This is not the porkulus bill, this is a standalone one for 2k checks.
Seriously? Wow...

I hate these people. This is what having a fake media has gotten us.
Interesting, I was not aware of this. Well have to see how this crap plays out then

One thing I can agree with
I believe congress gave it to him on budget matters.

But the supreme court shut it down(No problems accepting standing on a budget matter)
