The Treasury doesn't hold your money, the Federal Reserve does.

And, yes, they do "print" money. The Federal Reserve literally creates money as credits in the central banks. This is a well known, openly discussed and documented process. I won't go further, because I don't want to write a book in this dialog box, but feel free to look it up yourself.

You calling someone naive about economics and thinking the Treasury is the bank account for the country is ironic.
