Group 3 in massive numbers provides camouflage for groups 1 and 2, and they also provide an already in place reserve force that can join groups 2 or even 1 if things start going south.

Agreed I didn't bring my family to the last 2 DC rallies, you are just asking for trouble, It's all good at the rally until your by yourself with the kids walking back to the car and antifa heads your way! However people did bring their kids both times, But they should really think about what could happen on the 6th and make a decision.
