Catalytics don't make CO. But, they can deplete oxygen.

Any non-electric heater should have a good oxygen source by opening a window.

Even better if you have a small battery operated fan to circulate air.

But, you have a diesel and are not responsible for maintenance. I'd just bring an inverter for power and use the truck's heat.

Thanks for the clarification on CO/O2. In my experience, the little catalytic can make a small space uncomfortable pretty fast. I agree with your last sentence.

Lol I’ve camped in Michigan early summer with temps lower than that.
