Basically the adults of my family are all debating whether we should go. We have been moderates for 20 years.. but Trump changed things forever for us. We have woken up to the corruption, and now we are trying to figure out if we need to be there on Jan 6th to save our country.

I'm not bringing my squirt gun. I would if I didn't lose them all in a boating accident a while back, but since I no longer have them I sadly can't.
Driving puts more of the trip under your control, but if you fly early like the 5th, you could still reasonably expect to get a flight there by the 6th. Squirt guns are up to you, none of my business
