Did Trump just get Mitch to combine Section 230 reform and election investigations with the $2k stimulus checks into one bill?

Wouldn't this checkmate the dems into corner by forcing a vote on what the President wants by using the $2k checks as leverage?

Read the fine print below.

From article:

"McConnell did not explain why he objected to Schumer's request to fast-track the bill, but noted that President Trump has demanded Congress act on repealing liability protections for tech companies and election-related reforms, in addition to the stimulus checks."

""Those are the three important subjects the president has linked together. This week, the Senate will begin a process to bring these three priorities into focus," McConnell said in a possible nod to a future package."

He lost me when he endorsed Biden's "win" and tried to get republican senators to abandon our votes for Trump.

I'm not so sure. The pork bill with the aid the dems wanted already passed and was signed. If Trump wanted to back Mitch into a corner to link these together and us the $2k as leverage not signing anything would've been the better move. Instead Mitch is blocking the $2k we need and throwing in his own pet project, the liability protections for massive corporations in with the 230 reform and election investigations.

I'm guessing liability protections would end the pandemic related shutdowns tomorrow and would apply to all businesses.

I could be wrong, we have to wait for the language.
