Cops brought it on themselves. They care for their paycheck over the citizenry. They do exactly as they are told. The last straw for me was the old man from AZ who was tossed into a police car for trying to keep his store open at the beginning of this bullshit. Fuck these enforcers of tyranny. Cops are there to protect THE STATE. When they are told to stand down, that's someone else (mayors/governors) making the call. When they are told to strictly enforce lockdown protocols, its someone else making the call.

I've worked in the tactical gear and firearms industry for over a decade now. The amount of LE ass kissing that goes on is troubling - understandable given the interplay of the industry and the military-industrial complex, but people also need to realize that these police and government agents that they're venerating will also be the ones who will enforce the laws and edicts of the tyrant class to disarm the populace.
I've always been taught to be wary of law enforcement, and having experienced first hand how worthless they can be when you need them, I'm no backer of the blue, at all.
It's something I have to keep largely to my self, if only for the sake of professional decorum, but if a gun company or two decided not to offer an LE discount program, and not to sell to agencies, well, you wouldn't hear me complaining.

I have said it many times now. One of the main purposes behind "defund the police", and other anti-cop messaging over this year has been to demoralize and remove any decent cops on the force, especially in larger cities. Most have now been fired, had their jobs removed, quit, or retired. That will only leave the stupid, apathetic, or corrupt ones left. This is how the left will get it' new police force, and they'll follow whatever orders they're given.

I know many x military that became cops. Military trains a person for years upon years for that one shot that never came. (Pink spray) Gets out and his training is a direct fit for the police force.
