If they are woke-signaling with pronouns, the chances they will woke-signal to HR about "microaggressions", push critical race theory disguised as mandatory "sensitivity training", and just in general make the work environment hostile and miserable for everyone is almost 100%. If you allow that nonsense past you, you will lose respect in your field. You are completely justified in making pronouns a deal-breaker.
