I am the son of Christian Nigerian immigrants who did everything in their power to disassociate their kids from the negative influences of African American culture. It is their example that allows me to read your disdainful remarks, and not hate you in return. It is not fair to pin responsibility for crime, thug culture and fatherlessness on me when all are pretty foreign things to my upbringing.

The only sustainable way I can cope with racism, is to redirect it into genuine love. I would go mad otherwise. I am like, actually going to pray for you. I am going to ask God to teach you how to show his love to people.
