Pronouns are a convenience for someone speaking. They aren't ego boosters for a listener. They're also linguistically considered a "closed class", i.e. a part of speech that is highly jarring and nearly impossible to add new words to since the category is effectively finished. Anyone who advertises "their" pronouns is announcing they're a nutcase. Don't hire nutcases.
