so please wear some tight layers at least 3. Shirt, hoodie, jacket should do the trick. Then again im used to the cold. Hand warmers are nice.
otherwise guys go hardware store and pick yourself up a little propane grill you can heat water up with it and food etc. Warn food in keeps you warm. Not to mention they are rather cheap. Hand warmers gloves and a scarf wouldn't hurt. If your really not used to the cold hear me out. ..... goggles. Not only will they protect your eyes from pepper spray but, it will keep the cold from making your eyes feel dry.
Take this from a northern pede you may catch me wear shorts but, its because im used to it. If you have any other questions feel free to ask :)
ps- fleece lined jeans and some nice thick socks if you can afford it. A rain poncho would be good too. Keep the pepper spray off your nice clothing.

And don’t forget lace up boots. This is critical. Both for warmth and so they don’t fall off if you get in a scuffle/fleeing situation. Warm wool socks to go with them will go a LONG way towards making you feel less cold overall.
very very true! Not to mention depending on the boots they will help you stay on your feet longer. I got some irish setter wingshooter hunting boots (its really just redwings) and they really are super comfortable the safety toe is great too.
