I think the best way to fight this madness is to vote with money.

First create a regulation requiring all media companies to be publicly traded and controlled by diverse set of stockholders.

Secondly, all of you need to buy Google, Facebook and Twitter stocks, and join their stockholder meetings and then you need to grill them on their censoring behavior and threaten to sell their stock if they don't change their behavior.

You need to create a big scene that shows angry stockholders in their next meeting, saying these companies are working against the interests of the American people. They need to get a feeling there's bubbling discontent that they don't realize.

Suggested law:

To distribute any news (opinion or fact) over print, airwaves, cable, or internet or any other media format in the United States of America shall require the distributor to be fully owned by US Citizens.

Needs someone to lawyer up the language but u get the idea. I'm not so much worried about being publicly traded, but with eliminating the Carlos Slims (New York times) and Iranian billionaires (Twitter) from controlling our media.
