They don't care much what any of us see, they're mostly concerned with "protecting" their voting stock of NPCs from "misinformation".
Isn't it convenient that all of the "misinformation" out there is perpetrated by "white supremacists" and "right-wing extremists"? That sure makes it easy for even an NPC to understand that: A) This is definitely "misinformation", since it came from people who are clearly bad!, and B) Conservatives/Republicans/The Right are evil because they constantly spread misinformation.
If WE happen to "fall victim" to some of this "misinformation", that's unfortunate, but not worth the effort to "correct". Generally, the more intelligent and informed a person is, the more difficult it is to "protect" him or her from "misinformation", so they write us off as a more or less lost cause and focus their efforts on "protecting" those individuals who are easier to "protect". Fortunately, those enlightened individuals who have been sheltered from "misinformation" are usually willing to aid their "protectors" in preventing "bigots" and "white supremacists" like us from "deceiving" more of the NPCs with our "misinformation".
The net result is that they neither need nor expect our votes, and they don't really care what we read or hear. Their only concern, regarding us, is that we don't disrupt their vote farm by shattering the ridiculous narratives that they use to manipulate their NPCs. Lawsuits aren't a threat, SCOTUS isn't a threat, video evidence of election fraud isn't a threat - those can easily be "deboonked" by "fact-checkers" and CNN, while the NPC mob can be mobilized against the "bigots"/"white supremacists"/etc who tried to perpetrate such "evil" .
The only things they see as actual threats are potential disruptions to the illusionary world that they keep the NPCs in, and such disruptions can obviously only be accomplished through direct communication with those NPCs. THAT is why they work so vigorously to keep us off of the social media platforms where they herd the NPCs, THAT is why they consider memes to be a credible threat which needs to be addressed, and THAT is why they try so hard to paint our beloved Pepe as a "hate symbol". When a huge chunk of the enemy's voter base is comprised of individuals whose average intellectual capacity is not far above that of a child, the most effective weapons in our arsenal are those that could be understood by a child.
TL;DR - The NPCs are the human batteries powering the matrix; target them if you want to shut the enemy down.

Dominion is an upgrade on their vote manipulation efforts, and it may or may not be allowed to continue.
Plus, Dominion can't generate "public outrage" or riot in the streets, so they'll always need the useful NPC idiots.
