My opinion of the Insurrection Act vs Jan 6 is that if they officially assign those Elector votes to Biden then he is constitutionally the President-Elect regardless of the fact that they stole the election. The system that has been doing absolutely nothing to stop the steal, once Biden is actually constitutionally legitimate, will do absolutely everything at light speed to stop Trump from stopping the steal. So if you ask me it is hugely important to invoke it before they have a chance to officially assign thr Electors to Biden.
Right now I'm trying to be a keyboard warrior to convince my fellow pedes that we should be getting our energy behind leading a huge outcry from Trump supporters to get the President to tell spineless fucks like Jenna they're fired. Then get some wartime hardcore Trump people because it's do or die. Figure out how to make the Insurrection Act work well enough to stop the steal and worry about the bullshit crying later
One of the ways the Insurrection Act could be applied is if he sent the military to conduct hand recounts and audits in the contested states. A lot of people want it to be invoked and used to arrest people and seize evidence and all that stuff would be fucking fabulous but it would be much easier for Trump to say I'm sending in the military to do what you guys have refused to do. I await the results just like anyone else the military is in full control to count every legal vote and no illegal votes. Obviously the audits will find the fake ballots, dead people voting, out of state voting, illegal ballots, etc, etc. It's the best and obvious action to take.
