This lawsuit is poised to open a path for Pence based on conflicting actions covered by the statutes. This particular series of events has never happened before and we are in new territory legally with respect to not only what Pence does but what comes after in the legislature. I believe the court case is an attempt to seek a legal interpretation of what statutes take precedent.

Pence is only going to do what his legal counsel advises him to do. He will not do anything that his legal counsel doesn’t approve of. Look at WHO his legal counsel consists of.

The language is stilted and doesn’t actually say Pence disagrees just that the effort to resolve the issue was not successful in the described meeting.
