I was listening to an interview with a Seattle city council member about the defund the police movement and it should be no surprise to anyone here but she sounded like an absolute moron. It's entirely steeped in a feeling like this is how the world should be and that they simply want to move to the part where cops aren't needed while skipping over the logical step that crime needs to no longer exist first. They are deciding these things without regard to how it will affect the population. It just needs to happen. The only way to stop this is to stop them. Their choices need to be met with results that affect them. I don't know how these absolute retards have gotten into these positions of power.
