No no no, there is no hate as in dislike. Hate is still hate the same way leaven is still leaven, it's just used in the sense to convey a spiritual truth.
When Jesus says "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees", He's not referring to a leaven that has less yeast. The meaning of leaven is still in tact. The same way eating Christ's flesh - eating does not take on another meaning. It still means eating.
You either love something or you hate it. You wouldn't overthink what leaven was just because Jesus used it to refer to teaching. It's still leaven. It doesn't mean it ever means "less unleavened", that'd be as absurd as thinking hatred means to love less.
Listen to your argument. You say leaven means leaven. Then you say leaven didn’t really mean literal leaven that people literally eat when Jesus said it.
I agree.
We can apply that same principle to hate. There are different meanings for hate, as you would agree because you already stated you don’t hate your mother in every sense when Jesus told his disciples to hate their mother.
I ask my child, do you want chocolate or vanilla ice cream? She says, chocolate, I hate vanilla. She is choosing chocolate over vanilla, and it doesn’t mean she hates vanilla in every sense. If I gave her the choice between vanilla ice cream and peas, she would say, vanilla, I hate peas.
Jacob and Esau represent nations. God chose one to be his people to bless all the families of the earth and didn’t choose the other for this purpose.
Genesis 25:23 KJV
[23] And the Lord said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.
Jesus said beware of the leaven of the Pharisees. This leaven has the same definition as the leaven He'd be referring to if He didn't use it in an allegorical or spiritual sense. It's not any less leavened, just as hate isn't any less hatred. God hates certain people. He tears down whatever they build up. He is indignant toward them and will be forever. He has devoted them for destruction and has made them for the purpose of the day of evil. He laughs at them, and will terrify them in His fury.
He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The Lord scoffs at them.
Then He will speak to them in His anger
And terrify them in His fury, saying,
“But as for Me, I have installed My King
Upon Zion, My holy mountain.”
— Psalm 2:4-6
Though Edom says, “We have been beaten down, but we will return and build up the ruins”; thus says the Lord of hosts, “They may build, but I will tear down; and men will call them the wicked territory, and the people toward whom the Lord is indignant forever.”
— Malachi 1:4
“If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.
— Luke 14:26
These words here are spirit, and they need to be discerned spiritually. Jesus tells believers to love their enemies, He also says a man's enemies will be in his own house. He also says if anyone does not hate them they can't be His disciple. But He again also says to love them. This is how I can tell it is a spiritual saying.
For son treats father contemptuously,
Daughter rises up against her mother,
Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
A man’s enemies are the men of his own household.
— Micah 7:6
“Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father who is in heaven.
— Matthew 10:32-33
“Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. “He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.
— Matthew 10:34-39
Let’s just look at the first verse you posted. Psalms 2 tells us why God laughs at them. They take counsel against the Lord. You are imposing yourself wicked doctrine that makes our God the devil on random verses while ignoring what the verses actually say.
Psalm 2:2 KJV
[2] The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,
You then also include Luke 14:26 where you have said it doesn’t mean to hate your mother in every sense.
