Isn’t some of that money getting laundered into other countries going to “border security?” As if USA is the only country not allowed to have any borders or control immigration. I get so jaded going through customs coming back to the US because I just think how much nobody in the government gives a shit who is coming over the border without any checks, but “ooooooh you can’t bring that third bottle of wine! You have to pay the troll toll.”
