This was written 2 weeks after the election. One would think he should be able to see the line between obvious right and wrong. He is blind and misleading his people by accepting the wrongs done here. To think what has happen is right, is moral bankruptcy. shame on him

Uhhhh...yeah. Resolution 9 on one end and Russel Moore on the other. Not to mention the SBC President and Beth Moore!

Have you gone Presbyterian?

Nondenominational. I'm wary now of governing bodies like conventions, etc. that provide funding/nonprofit status and thereby hold sway over individual churches.

Always be wary. But your ecclesiology is no small thing. Does your church have two offices: Elder and Deacon. Is it Elder led by a plurality of Elders? This is the NT model.

James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

Individual revelation is part of SBC doctrine.

May God guide this man on his journey but each chrurch is its own body within The Church for a reason. Each congregation and each member within the congregation is free to hear God on their own. This isn’t a flaw it’s a safety mechanism.
